Koszalin (German Köslin, Latin Coslinum [3], Kashubian Kòszalëno [4]) - a city with poviat rights in north-western Poland, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the second largest city in Western Pomerania. It is located on the Koszaliński Coast, on the Dzierżęcinka River, on the Jamno and Lubiatowo Północne lakes. The seat of the Koszalin poviat, the regional court, the branch office of the Marshal's Office and the regional office of the voivodeship office.
