Little goose (Anser erythropus) - a species of large, migratory water bird of the duck family (Anatidae), inhabiting northern Eurasia from the Scandinavian Peninsula to the Anadyr River. Flights in April - May and autumn in September - November. It winters in the Balkans, the Black Sea coasts and Central Asia. In Poland, it appears rarely, rather in autumn than in spring. Exceptionally, it can winter on the shores of the Baltic Sea.
