Akita is an original breed originating in Japan. It is a large, strong and proportionately built dog. By nature, very calm, sensitive and emotional towards members of his social group. However, he shows a lot of reserve towards strangers. He adapts to different lifestyles, he may as well sleep all day and spend time with his master in various classes.
